YouTube Strategist – Remote Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and grow our channel presence. You will shape the end‑to‑end video strategy, from concept to performance analysis, driving brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify high‑value topics.
• Guide creative teams on titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and overall video storytelling.
• Monitor key metrics (CTR, watch time, subscriber growth) using YouTube Studio and translate insights into channel improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and optimize production workflows for consistent output.
• Collaborate with social, paid, and product marketing teams to integrate video content across channels.
• Identify and pursue monetization opportunities such as sponsorships and merchandise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical ability to turn YouTube Analytics data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing creative teams.
