Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence systems. In this role you will review, annotate, validate, and improve backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets involving REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend workflows.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and evaluation feedback.
• Assess server‑side code performance and logical accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Understanding of authentication systems such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event‑driven design.
• Experience reviewing database queries, authentication mechanisms, and microservices.
• Strong grasp of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Prior experience conducting code reviews or technical assessments.
