About the role
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is seeking consultancy services to develop the first comprehensive mapping of seagrass meadows in the Union of the Comoros, focusing on the Mohéli Seascape pilot case study. This effort forms part of IUCN’s Coastal and Ocean Resilience programme.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the mapping services and related outputs as described in Attachment 1 of the RfP.
- Prepare technical reports and data products that meet IUCN quality standards.
- Coordinate with IUCN’s Comoros Country Office throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in coastal and ocean resilience projects or marine ecosystem mapping.
- Ability to comply with IUCN procurement procedures and timelines.
