Private Sector Engagement Expert (Space Programme)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role will focus on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors to foster partnerships and commercial opportunities in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to inform business development strategies.
• Provide business support services, including matchmaking, commercialization advice and facilitation of access to finance.
• Contribute to policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and knowledge‑exchange activities that promote sustainable space ecosystems.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for project stakeholders on private‑sector engagement outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience directly engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, matchmaking and access‑to‑finance activities.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
