Remote 3D Modeler (Full-Time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative and detail‑oriented Remote 3D Modeler to transform 2D concepts into high‑quality 3D assets. You will collaborate with art directors, engineers, and designers to deliver immersive models for our global digital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build high‑quality 3D models (organic and hard‑surface) from concept art, sketches, and references.
• Create realistic or stylized textures, UV maps, materials, and lighting to enhance visual appeal.
• Optimize models by reducing polygon counts while maintaining aesthetic quality for real‑time performance.
• Coordinate with design, animation, and engineering teams via Slack, Zoom, and project‑management tools.
• Iterate on models, textures, and renders based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain clean folder structures, organized UVs, and clear versioning on cloud servers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, new software, and modern rendering techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering experience (portfolio required).
• Advanced knowledge of industry‑standard 3D software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or ZBrush.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Exceptional eye for form, scale, color, proportion, and spatial relationships.
• Familiarity with clean UV unwrapping and photorealistic texture mapping.
• A robust remote‑friendly workstation capable of handling complex rendering tasks.
