Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build and maintain custom Content Management System solutions for our clients. The position is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, allowing you to work independently while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and scale customized CMS applications, developing custom themes, modules and plugins from scratch.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility and perform performance tuning.
• Configure custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle authentication, backups and regular software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation for future maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on CMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with attention to design accuracy.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side programming in PHP, Python or Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS or Magento.
• Custom API integration and database management.
• Technical SEO implementation, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
