Remote Drupal Web Developer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Drupal Web Developer to join our remote team. You will design, build and maintain complex web applications on the Drupal CMS, collaborating with project managers, designers and fellow developers to deliver secure, high‑performance sites.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain complex Drupal‑based websites and applications.
• Develop custom modules and themes using clean, secure PHP and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs into Drupal platforms.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches and ensure module compatibility.
• Test, debug and optimise front‑ and back‑end performance to achieve high uptime.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge and support team members.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience developing and supporting Drupal 9/10 platforms.
• Strong self‑motivation, time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Drupal 9/10 (including headless/decoupled implementations).
• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker or similar containerised development environments.
• Automated testing for Drupal projects.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
