Script Writer – Remote, Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a creative Script Writer to develop engaging scripts for a variety of media including YouTube videos, commercials, television and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready screenplays that reflect our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific formats.
• Partner with directors, producers and writers to brainstorm story ideas, themes and character arcs.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to support narrative flow.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback and revise drafts.
• Maintain industry‑standard formatting and continuity across all documents.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with an eye for pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to pitch ideas and accept constructive criticism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
