Space Applications Expert, Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Space Applications Expert to support satellite navigation, GNSS, augmentation systems and satellite connectivity initiatives across Africa as part of the AESPP Boost programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems.
• Support satellite connectivity and the development and uptake of space‑based applications across Africa.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications, satellite connectivity or related applications.
• At least 4 years of experience working on satellite‑navigation or connectivity applications, including GNSS, SBAS, aviation or maritime use cases.

Required skills

• Satellite navigation systems (GNSS, SBAS, Galileo, EGNOS, IRIS²).
• Satellite broadband and connectivity applications for aviation and maritime sectors.
