Remote Script Writer – Creative Storytelling

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn ideas into polished, production‑ready scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character development with directors, producers, and the wider creative team.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance the plot and reflect character personalities.
• Participate in script readings and revise scripts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Script Writer, Screenwriter, or Copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
