Trust and Safety Analyst (Remote)

About the role

The Trust and Safety Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of our platform by detecting, investigating, and mitigating harmful content and behavior. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a safe user experience while upholding community standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth investigations of harassment, hate speech, misinformation, illegal and other policy‑violating content.
• Interpret and apply internal policies with high accuracy, identifying gaps and recommending updates.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools, reduce harmful content at scale, and provide feedback to automated systems.
• Analyze data to uncover new abuse vectors (spam, scams, coordinated inauthentic behavior) and proactively escalate threats.
• Handle high‑priority escalations, including law‑enforcement requests and legal inquiries, with a trauma‑informed approach.
• Provide insights to Policy, Product, Legal, and leadership teams to shape policy and product decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Intelligence Analysis within the tech/social‑media sector.
• Strong emotional intelligence and proven self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Excellent written English communication and ability to explain complex policy decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions under pressure.
