Video Game Composer

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive music that defines the sonic identity of our upcoming titles. This remote position offers the chance to shape narrative, character, and environmental soundtracks while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive, adaptive music layers that react to player actions and changing gameplay scenarios.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music aligns with the game’s mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into the game engine and audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and play‑testing results.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
• Familiarity with integrating music into Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience using audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and virtual instrument libraries.
